Thank you Emilia. I didn't know I was writing directly to the artist. I love your work! !I acquired this piece from an estate. It's 16" tall. I will appreciate anything you can tell me about it. Best regards Wendy Gruby Boca Raton, Florida
My bowl is beautiful! Thank you so much, I will treasure it forever! It is the beautiful focal point of my Santa Fe living room! Wishing you all the best!
By the way, I saw this piece of yours and have to tell you just how beautiful it is in its natural simplicity and selective detail. I will share three good quotes that it brings to mind. Shakespeare - “Art is a mirror held up to nature”. Two quotes from Hans Hofmann - “The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak”. and “An idea can only be materialized with the help of a medium of expression, the inherent qualities of which must be surely sensed and understood in order to become the carrier of an idea”. I am by no means an art critic or all that knowledgeable about art – just someone who appreciates it - but to me, this piece surely reflects all three of these quotes. Best, G
